It was a triple treat for riders at Mallawa picnics on Saturday with Ashley Boyd, Leandro Ribeiro and Zara Lewis each booting home winning doubles.

Boyd won the first two races aboard Apparently ($2.10) and Pub Feed ($1.50 favourite).

It was then Ribeiro's turn by taking out races three and four on Trigoso ($2 fav) and Red Line Fever ($2.50).

Lewis then finished the day on a high by claiming the penultimate event on Stolen Show ($1.60 equal fav) and the feature, the Mallawa Picnic Cup (1400m), on Akauwheo ($4).

The Connie Greig-trained Callie Cool leads the NSW Picnic Champion Series on 42 points and is currently spelling.

The mare is being rested in preparation for the $50,000 NSW Picnic Champion Series Final (1000m) at Dubbo on Sunday 27 September.

That race is immediately followed on the day by the longer $50,000 NSW Picnic Champion Series Final over 1400m.

Notleanormean and Ozzy The Equaliser share second place on the points table with 37 points in advance of Allande (33 points).

The next chance to earn points will be at BLIGH PICNICS run at Mudgee on Saturday 13th June.
