Racing NSW today announced a global distribution agreement for the J-Mac documentary, featuring “the world’s best jockey” James McDonald, with DAZN, alongside Foxtel, Kayo Sports and BINGE in Australia.
The documentary will premiere on Fox Sports (Foxtel channel 502) on Tuesday, 14 April at 7.30pm, with simultaneous release on Kayo Sports and Binge, and international distribution via DAZN to its 400 million global subscribers.

The J-Mac documentary delivers unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the life of one of the world’s most successful jockeys, offering a rare insight into the physical and mental demands of these unique athletes.
DAZN, one of the world’s fastest-growing sports streaming platforms, reaches more than 400 million viewers globally and broadcasts over 300 sporting competitions annually.
Racing NSW Chief Executive Peter V’landys AM said the documentary highlights both the athleticism and personality behind one of racing’s biggest stars.
“This documentary showcases the extraordinary skill, discipline and resilience required to be a top-level jockey, while also giving audiences a deeper understanding of James McDonald as a person.
“Sport is driven by personalities, and giving fans access behind the scenes creates a powerful connection and brings the story of racing to a broader audience.”
