Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)

These Safe Work Method Statements were developed by trainers and race club staff during the Racing NSW OH&S Form Guide Seminars and are provided in order to supply general information for trainers and club managers. They are provided as an example only and should not in any way be perceived by employers to be a definitive recommended process. Whilst reasonable efforts have been made to ensure that the information contained in the SWMS is correct at the time of writing, Racing NSW makes no guarantee as to the accuracy or completeness of the documents.

The contents of these SWMS should not be regarded as a substitute for professional or other advice and Racing NSW encourages Club Managers to regularly update their knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation and regulations.

Racing NSW and its employees shall not be liable in any respect for any loss or damage suffered in relation to any errors or acts of omission in these Safe Work Method Statements. Employers may download the documents for use and ensure they are updated and amended before use.
