Stewards Report On Beau Geste (Entered At Randwick Sat)

Trainer James Cummings has advised Racing NSW Stewards that BEAU GESTE, which is accepted to start in Race 6 (Roman Consul Stakes) at Royal Randwick this Saturday (7th October), has sustained a small non-painful haematoma to the near-side of its neck following a routine intra-muscular injection on Monday morning. Mr Cummings undertook to provide further updates on the condition over the coming days and provide a veterinary clearance before racing on Saturday. Racing NSW Senior Official Veterinarian, Dr Craig Suann, will inspect Beau Geste prior to racing on Saturday.
