Welcome to the HorseSafe Induction program

As of the 1st January 2016 any new employees to the racing industry must complete The HorseSafe industry Induction course to be able to be licenced by RNSW.

HorseSafe is an online self-paced induction program which is completed through The Australian Racing and Equine Academy.

The online induction is located within the TAFE WSI network.

Course FEE is $35

The process for completing the HorseSafe Induction is as follows:


     Register your details in the form provided below. Ensure all questions are answered.


     Once you have completed this registration below, proceed to the payment section.

     Payment Option:      Credit card: - VISA; MasterCard; American Express


     Once paid and enrolled you will be directed to the TAFENSW HorseSafe Induction page

     You will be asked to setup a profile with your personal details and then complete the online induction.

On successful completion of the Induction you will be issued with a HorseSafe certificate.

The HorseSafe certificate will need to be submitted with all license applications before they are processed by Racing NSW.

The HorseSafe Induction is coordinated by the Australian Racing and Equine Academy.
