Racing NSW Stewards have today advised licensed Kembla Grange trainer Paul Murray of the presence of Cobalt detected in a vial of liquid confiscated by them during the Kembla Grange race meeting on Tuesday, 17 June 2014, following a routine stable inspection of Mr Murray’s stables by the Racing NSW Surveillance and Intelligence Unit on that day.
Please note licensed jockey Greg Ryan has lodged an appeal after being found guilty of a charge under AR135(b) in that as the rider of Grey Pariz in Race 5 (Kings Hall Jewellers Class 2 Handicap, 1320m) at the City of Dubbo Turf Club meeting on Friday, 20 June 2014, he did in the opinion of the Stewards, fail to take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race to ensure that Grey Pariz was given full opportunity to win or to obtain the best possible place in the field.
