The Directors of the Australian Racing Board have elected the The Hon Michael Duffy ONZ as the national body’s Chairman.

The Board’s spokesman, Andrew Harding, noted Mr Duffy’s wealth of experience and achievement in Government, law and racing administration.

“Mr Duffy’s election as ARB Chairman is a highly significant development for racing nationally," said Andrew Harding, ARB Chief Executive. "His many achievements in public life, his deep understanding of Government, his distinguished background in the law and his close affinity with racing are all things which will stand the ARB in great stead.”
