WRA Country Championships Qualifier - Not For Export

Further to advice released this morning, Dar Lunn, trainer of Not For Export which gained a place in the Country Championships Final at Randwick on 1 April 2017, as the second WRA representative following the withdrawal of La La Loopsy, has advised that he did not notify Racing NSW Stewards that Not For Export wasn’t taking its place in the The Country Championships Final.

Accordingly, Not For Export has been reinstated into the final as the second WRA representative and 7th placegetter Strathaird, trained by Mr Garry Lunn, will become the emergency for the WRA region. Racing NSW Stewards shall investigate the advice received.

Please be advised that Michael Heagney will not ride Neyla’s Girl in Race 3 (Highway Handicap) on Saturday at Royal Randwick.
Racing NSW Stewards today conducted an inquiry into the Analysts’ findings of cobalt at a concentration above the level excepted in AR178C(1)(l) in the pre-race urine sample taken from Follow Through prior to that mare finishing second in Race 2 (Class 1 Handicap) conducted at Grafton Racecourse on 13 July 2017.
Racing NSW Stewards have permitted Glyn Schofield to be declared as the rider of both No. 7 Heat Haze and No. 8 Nais Ko, which have accepted in Race 5 at Sunday’s Wyong race meeting.
Royal Randwick will host City Tattersalls Club Cup Day as the ultimate party race day this Saturday, 21 October.
